Release Notes : 1.0.5 — September 15, 2026
3-axis

  • Rest machining on 3D Pocket Clearing and Adaptive Clearing. A second, smaller cutter clears only what the previous operation left behind.
  • Helical entry. The pitch follows the ramp angle, the orbit turns with the cut direction, and the helix starts from the level above the one being cut. The Helical pitch setting is live only when the entry is helical.
  • Spiral clearing. Pocket, Sloped Pocket, 3D Pocket Clearing and the coarse levels of Ramp Pocket clear each ring as one continuous spiral instead of stitched passes.
  • Sloped Pocket starts from the feature's own floor by default.
  • Facing. Cut direction (climb or conventional) is honoured as a one-way sweep, the sweep angle is a setting, and the operation closes with a lap of the perimeter.
  • Pencil. Flat and bull-nose cutters seat correctly in every corner and the cutter body is checked along every seam, so no pencil pass links through material.
  • Underside geometry. Feature recognition no longer lists geometry on the underside of the part as reachable from above, and Pencil skips the wedges beneath it.
  • Drilling. A hole drilled in exactly two pecks posts as a G83 cycle when canned cycles are on; it was written out move by move.

Setup and the feature list

  • The work coordinate marker follows its stock marker.
  • The blocked-feature filter measures the part again after the part is replaced.
  • Hovering a feature, group or section lights its faces in the viewport; nothing stays lit after an operation is added.

Preferences and export

  • Default machine. Preferences lists your machines by name; the row was empty before, whatever was saved under Posts & Machines.
  • The export dialog's feed-mode row reads "G94 (units/min)".

Manual and text

  • The helical entry description is updated in the manual in all seven languages.
