Community Hub Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 10, 2026

Welcome to hub.takshakcam.com (the “Community Hub”), operated by Takshiq Soft Labs LLP (“Company”, “we”, “us”), registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. These Terms of Service govern your access to and participation in our community discussions, forums, documentation, and resources.

By registering an account, posting, or accessing the Community Hub, you agree to these Terms, our Community Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, and the core Software EULA.

1. Platform Scope & Community Access

  • Community Access: Access to the Community Hub, documentation, tutorials, user-to-user forums, and library downloads (post-processors and machine definitions) is free. A verified email address is the only requirement; no software purchase or licence is needed to register, participate, or download.
  • No Engineering SLAs: The Community Hub provides peer-to-peer collaboration and community assistance. Hub registration does not provide guaranteed individual developer response times or one-on-one debugging SLAs. Direct help-desk support is provided via support@takshakcam.com as defined in your software purchase terms.

2. User Accounts, Eligibility & Moderation

  • Eligibility & Credentials: You must be at least 18 years of age (or have valid legal capacity) to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • Community Standards & Code of Conduct: You agree to uphold our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to moderate, hide, or remove any content that constitutes spam, harassment, or violates our guidelines.
  • Account Suspension vs. Software License: Repeated violations may result in the temporary suspension or permanent termination of your hub account. Suspension of a hub account does not revoke your perpetual local desktop software license or your access to automated Help -> Check for Updates version checks.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC) License

  • By posting comments, forum threads, validation feedback, or uploading images, logs and configuration files to the Community Hub, you grant Takshiq Soft Labs LLP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, reproduce, and analyze that content for platform operation, software diagnostics, and product improvements.
  • Community threads and their attachments are public and search-indexed. You should never post confidential customer part geometry, trade secrets, or third-party proprietary data.
  • Attachment Limits and Retention: You may attach up to four (4) files per post, each up to 10 MB, in the accepted image, log and configuration formats. Video files are not accepted; link to a clip hosted elsewhere instead. The attachment store is capped at 60 GB in total. When it reaches 45 GB, the oldest files are scheduled for removal: we email the owner three times, one week apart, and delete the file two weeks after the third notice — five weeks from first notice to deletion. Downloading a file does not extend its deadline. Your posts are unaffected; only the attached files are removed, and the thread will show that an attachment was removed. Attachments are not a backup service — keep your own copies.

4. Peer Advice, CAM Disclaimers & Liability Limits

  • “As-Is” Peer Assistance: All advice, post-processors, macro scripts, speeds/feeds recommendations, and G-code shared by community members or staff on this hub are provided strictly “AS-IS” without warranties of any kind.
  • Dry-Run Obligation: You bear absolute and sole responsibility for simulating, dry-running, and verifying all toolpaths and configurations on your physical CNC machinery before cutting real material.
  • Master Liability Shield: Takshiq Soft Labs LLP disclaims all liability for ruined workpiece stock, broken cutting tools, mechanical crashes, factory downtime, or injuries arising from following advice found on this forum. In all cases, liability is governed and limited by the Master Liability Cap in our core Software EULA.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or related to your use of the Community Hub shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
